Scope of the reference material

Interior Design U.S. provides general reference articles and illustrative worksheets, with source links that readers can check against the requirements for their own project. An article is not an individual design, engineering, legal or tax assessment, and a worked calculation does not establish a property's compliance or eligibility.

Sources, dates and calculations

Published standards, programme conditions, fees and product information can change after an article is prepared, and their application depends on the circumstances stated by the issuing body. Check the applicable edition, jurisdiction and current terms before using a figure in a contract, purchase or application.

Calculations with stated example inputs are illustrations. Replace those inputs with documented project values before using a worksheet. AI-generated illustrations do not show measured installations or completed client work.

Reuse and contact

Requests to reproduce material from Interior Design U.S. can be sent to info@interior-design.us.org, identifying the passage or illustration and proposed use. External standards, quotations and source documents remain subject to the rights and terms of their original publishers.
